VIDEO PINBALL / Atari / 2600

Well, I guess for 1980, this was about as good as video pinball sims were going to get ... horribly and hopelessly dated now though. The game has a selection of several tables, but the main problem is that none was designed very thoughtfully with the limitations of the system and game engine in mind. The ball often spends long periods bouncing off on the side of the screen somewhere, and rarely comes near the flippers for you to swipe at it. The tall pipes on either side of the screen that are nowhere near your flippers seem a little unfair as well.
