You know, this really just makes me want to play the arcade game.

Tossing in a couple of uninspiring extra levels just can't help the fact that the NES is not up to snuff in handling an arcade port of anything made after 1985. I wouldn't care so much about the limited graphics and music (the music is probably the part that translated the best actually, go Konami NES sound team) if the gameplay wasn't hacked up. All the levels are basically the same, but the hit boxes and collision detection are much shorter range and kind of weird and imprecise now. Plus the game seems like 10x harder than the arcade game, with the Foots hard-charging you in mass quantities right from the first level and getting priority over your hits most of the time.
