The Klonoa games are a fun blend of platformer and puzzle-solving. The second Klonoa game on the GBA has nice background art, and the music is much improved over the "world music" they were going for in the previous game. This one is interspersed with surfing levels that recall Sonic 2's clunky bonus stages, and these kind of mar the game as they are irritating to control and not really all that much fun. Most of the levels are slow-paced and puzzlicious in focus in the typical Klonoa style, though there are a few action-oriented scenes such as the surfing levels and the boss battles which have you being chased by some giant monstrosity. All in all, a good and somewhat unique platform/puzzle hybrid that is worth a look.
