TAX AVOIDER / American Videogames / Atari 2600
"The designers must have been on crack" is a phrase that gets abused in commentary on gaming. For this game, however, there is absolutely no more appropriate statement.
Seriously, I have no idea what the hell is supposed to be going on here. The main character has some of the most articulated animation on the 2600, but it's lost in a whirl of dollar signs flying around. Every now and then you step off into another stage where some shady guy very slowly pursues you as you pick up briefcases. The ultimate objective of all this? No effing clue.
How appropriate is it that it's made by "American Videogames", though, and came out in 1982. Lol.
